Eden Conservatives
Are the voice of of the Conservative Party in Eden, Cumbria.
Our Aims are:
- To work to keep down the cost of Council Tax
- To Consult with local people
- To address Eden's housing needs
- To support local small businesses
- To strive to maintain Public Services
- To resist regional government
Eden District Council
SINCE April 2003, the number of Conservative Councillors has increased from one to 10. Independents have not won any recent by elections. Increasingly the voters of Eden are putting their trust in Conservatives.
Cumbria County Council
Conservative hold seven of nine County Council seats in Eden including the leader of the council and the cabinet member for childrens services.
We are not complacent. Conservatives promise responsible local government that recognises financial reality. Unlike the Liberal Democrats, Conservatives know promises have to be paid for by the taxpayer.
